Regarding the trip you are about to embark on, it may be useful to know that:
- Every road is easily accessible.
- The lodges and facilities we use are of an excellent standard, clean and efficient and, most importantly, built with respect for the environment in which they are located.
- The roads in southern Africa are the best on the continent. The routes are in good condition, wide, and clearly visible.
- Namibia, Botswana, and Zambia are countries without any risk of crime or religious conflict, making it extremely safe to travel alone.
- Some areas in South Africa may be dangerous, but we are aware of this and therefore do not include them in our itineraries.
It may be useful to know that if you purchase goods for export exceeding N$250.00 (including VAT) with proof of purchase, you can claim a VAT refund as a tourist or non-resident. To obtain a refund, simply show your receipt and purchased goods at the Refund Office at the airport. Refunds will be paid by bank transfer, so you will also need to provide your bank details.
